I first learnt to play bridge from a book called “ Learn to play bridge in a weekend” with friends many years ago. I soon found out that there is a lot more to playing bridge and decided to go for formal lessons. However, you never stop learning.

My first taste of playing Bridge was many years ago when I was an engineering apprentice and a few guys used to play in the lunchtimes. Life moved on and I didn't play again for about 30 years until I signed up for lessons in 2015 - then I was hooked!

I still have much to learn, but there are so many experienced players at our club willing to share their knowledge and I'm happy to soak up their advice.

I've heard it said that Bridge is a journey with no final destination, and I'm just starting down the road.
